Laboratory coding can be complex and often has a high denial rate. In this session we will discuss common denials for laboratory services, bundling, CLIA certifications, required documentation, and common laboratory modifiers. We will compare Medicare policies to understand the differences between NCDs and multiple MACs' LCDs to ensure you have the correct information for your location for a clean laboratory claim.
